RWR Discord Webhook

RWR Discord Webhook posts clear embeds for scheduled warnings, successful resets, failures, cancellations, and interrupted operations. It uses a Discord incoming webhook; no Discord bot account is required.

Requirements

• Java 21+
• ResourceWorldResetter 5.1+ for your server platform
• A Discord channel where you can create an incoming webhook

Install and connect

1. Put RWR-Discord-Webhook-1.0.0.jar in plugins/ and start the server once.
2. Create a webhook in the target Discord channel and copy its URL.
3. Open plugins/RWR-Discord-Webhook/config.yml and set webhook.url.
4. Run /rwr discord reload.
5. Run /rwr discord status to confirm RWR API availability and delivery state.

Protect the webhook URL

Treat the webhook URL like a password. Do not paste it into support tickets or logs. The add-on redacts it and never stores it in the pending-delivery queue.

Reliable delivery

Webhook requests run asynchronously. Temporary failures use exponential backoff, Discord Retry-After values are respected, and pending messages survive restarts in a bounded queue.
